The graphics are poor, the view from the wagon is a cool idea, but the controls for everything from the size of the status window is way to small to see to just moving around to get supplies or starting the trail. The game should also have a tutorial and help link. Truly the poorest app I've ever had. Clearly the writers abandoned improving this app years ago. Definately pass on this game.
This game may have been better, but I was wrong. The map is pretty ugly, and since there's no tracks you don't really know where your going. The joystick looks weird, and functions weird. You can't move the camera while moving, which is something I dislike in 3D games. The existence of hay bales for your oxen in this game is arbitrary, and since your walking in a map of grass, the oxen should just eat that. Hunting is broken too, making it hard to kill from a great distance. Not recommended.
If I could give this game 10 stars I would. The graphics are so modern and ground breaking compared to most games nowadays. I feel like I need to pay for such an amazing gaming experience. This game truly deserves an award for how amazing the game lay and graphics are.
This. Game. Changed. My. Life. Never before have I seen such good graphics in a mobile game. You should be charging money for this! It's like I feel I've stolen getting this game for free! The story of my life had me crying, I felt like I was actually living through the oregon trail. Thank you. Thank you for making this story.
Very nice game, but it needs instructions. I have no idea what I am doing and jeep on dying on my way to the second town (first on the journey). With a half way decent set of instructions game would actually be 5 star.'
