This is truly a rare and awesome find...a daily news app that actually provides complete news writeups and never takes the reader to a dead end page with 'website not available' onscreen!! This is the only news app among several, I have tried that is like this one. In Settings, this app is using 16 MB, but if it doesn't rise to 20 MB or more, I'll keep this installed in my android. This app is really interesting & functions fine.Thank you much!!!
Was great until recently. For a while it didn't update for a few days at a time. Now, one gets top news, tech, & politics scattered throughout most of the categories. My custom tabs are now blank. Resetting/reinstalling makes no difference. What happened? This was the best replacement for Google News until it went nuts.
Ads in default channel view mode are immense (more than half the screen!) and numerous. Other view modes are better, but waste space with meaningless graphics and confusing tile sizes. No ability to filter out news from unwanted sources. Nice weather screen. But obtrusive ads are annoying, and no option to buy an ad-free version. Other features are nice, but ads are a deal breaker. Uninstalling.
This is the very BEST news app out there, especially if you're looking for unbiased information. It gives you access to news. Not like Smartnews that chooses what you should be reading, so biased! This app also allows you to load so many channels that you are interested in. Like I have a channel called Ancient and it loads articles related to anything Ancient,; most of which I wouldn't see on any other news app. Total 5 ☆! I would recommend this app to EVERYONE.
Is nice, but has its share of issues. Can't run it all the time or my battery runs down too quickly. Would like to have it open on a schedule each morning, but can't get that to happen. Custom news channels are great, but often slow to load or don't load at all. Still a good app, inconveniences aside.."
