App/Bluetooth doesn't work at all. I bought this bp cuff based on the brand and Bluetooth log keeping. The app requires an email to send you a temporary password that never comes. Until this app is fixed it is false advertising to claim it can do things it can't without the app which doesn't work. I've been waiting for a week and used two different email addresses. Very disappointed especially from such a huge brand. Device seems great, well built and accurate, but not smart at all.
Sometimes I find that the Bluetooth doesn't connect with device. Otherwise it's a fabulous device, accurate, user friendly, well made, and I'd recommend it to others. I have even purchased the blood pressure monitor as a gift for my loved ones.
It will not connect to Bluetooth timely. All of the sudden a few weeks worth of readings will appear. I often have to put them in manually.
The app does what it is expected. It can connect up to the blood pressure device and display readings. It can show you a graph and table and it can send you an email with the readings. Bluetooth has some issues: - As noted by others you do not pair from within the normal Bluetooth settings, but from within this app. - The BIG issue, is that it seems only to connect once. When I come back the next day it does not connect. I either have to reboot or go into settings > Apps and Notifications, select Welch Allyn, and then do a force stop. After doing the forced stop I can restart the app and then it connects up to my BP device. It used to give me a no connection message, now it doesn't. If connection always worked I would give it 5 starts.
This app is not compatible with many smart phones. I've spoken with Welch Allyn support, seems they have no intension of repairing, updating or modifying this app to work with the current android OS or many popular phones. Such awesome BP measuring devices, but an absolutely terrible app, with zero updates or support. So very sad! What a powerful tool it could be! Fix this, please!!!!!"
