DESCRIPTION

Use UptoPlay to play online the game MSDroid.

IMPORTANT: This application is for MegaSquirt and Speeduino ECUs *ONLY*! THIS IS *NOT* FOR OBD2!

A complete, fully-integrated application for MegaSquirt, providing everything you need on your phone or tablet for beautiful dashboards, full ECU tuning and configuration, datalog recording, and powerful graphical reviewing of datalogs including simultaneous map GPS route. Support is for MS1, MS2, MS3 ( including the MS/Extra variants) and Speeduino.

Features include:

- Flexible multi-page dashboard that can be customised. Widgets (such as gauges) can be arranged as you like using a drag-and-drop editing style.

- Logging.

- Powerful integrated datalog viewer which allows logs to be viewed in traditional graph form, together with an optional map to show GPS route information. This datalog viewer actually shows data along a true time axis rather than on record basis, meaning it represents time accurately even if data sampling rate is inconsistent. The synchronized cursors make it easy to see exactly where you were on your route or racetrack corresponding to a particular cursor position in your datalog.

- Support for all tuning screens, including table and curve editors. (Some tuning pages are blank or unavailable and are work in progress; please email me if a particular dialog is missing that you want us to make higher priority.)

- MSDroid is driven by traditional Megasquirt .ini files. If the application doesn't come with the correct .ini for your particular ECU, you can easily add it.

- Carefully designed to support all device sizes from phones to tablets, with layouts optimised to suit your particular device's screen size.

- MSDroid is used with either a Bluetooth to RS232 (serial) interface or, if your device supports USB Host mode, you can use a USB to RS232 (serial) interface. If you have a device that supports USB Host and you're a user of MS3 then all you then need is a USB cable, thanks to MS3's internal FTDI USB interface!

MSDroid needs read/write access to storage to store project definitions, INI files, MSQ files and MSL log files. It will not work if you deny it access.

Comments:

Scam. After spending 18 dollars you expect for it to fully open up and access your ecu but you don't even have the essential settings like rpm or even afr and speedo. Avoid this. Going to try to get a refund.

Finally got logs transferred and working from my phone to laptop, tunes not as reliaby (errors) so I won't be using MSDroid to change the tune. It's still great for gauges without dragging the laptop around.

I run this on my head unit, so it is always running while I drive. The intuitive interface lends itself well to quick, on the fly adjustments to the tune. It takes me longer to find settings in TunerStudioMS than it does in this app. The logging feature is seamless and useful as well. MSDroid logs data from the Android device's GPS and accelerometer sensors in addition to all the standard megasquirt fields. Logging is configurable to start upon connecting to the ECU. The logs are compatible with MegaLogViewer. MSDroid can optionally upload logs to Google Drive, but this only works if the log is stopped when an internet connection is present. If I may suggest a feature improvement- It would be very useful to have a single button that synchronizes the current tune and uploads the current/latest log to Google Drive. This would allow for seamless synchronization with MegaLogViewer. The process would look similar to this: record log and optionally tweak settings while driving --> send latest log and tune to MegaLogViewer through GDrive --> tune offline --> synchronize modified tune with GDrive --> msdroid asks to optionally load modified tune from Google Drive upon connecting to the ECU when an internet connection is available. A lot of people are requesting TunerStudio's auto-tune feature in this app, which would be useful, but good synchronization of tunes and logs with a different computer running TunerStudio+MegaLogViewer could be just as useful in many cases. Trevor, thanks for creating and supporting this great app! It has become an essential part of my car.

I have this bluetooth to my tablet thru megasquirt ecu using the bluetooth adapter. works great and you can also do tuning and make changes not just view gauges. although I'm still trying to figure out how to rename tune file. other then that I like it.

Does the basics great. Working good on a Microsquirt fuel only setup. Always connect at near the same time the controller is started, then it synchronizes every time. This app is a nessasary convenience. Good job.'
