When students attend college, they are often in close proximity to on-campus dining halls, which makes these dining halls a convenient place at which students can eat. If students want to find out more about the food served at dining halls, they can ask their friends and browse social media forums for more information. However, there is no single forum dedicated to discussing college dining hall food. Instead, students must search for bits and pieces of information scattered all over Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, College Confidential, and many other online forums to find out about the food served at their college. This lack of centralization can make it difficult for students to know what dining hall food is high-quality, priced well, tasty, and hygienic, as well as what food is not.

To combat these problems, we developed Comida, a mobile application that allows college students to rate and review the food served at their campus dining halls. Using Comida, students can read other people's reviews of food items, write their own reviews, rate food on various indicators using a 1-5 star rating system, like and dislike other people's reviews, and much more.

The purpose of this application is to provide an organized space for students to review dining hall foods and interact with one another to make well-informed food choices in college!
