The app contains the digital version of the Cookbook Measuring Strategies for tactile Coordinate Metrology and includes some of the most common measuring tasks (as evaluated in a study by the Global Application Knowledge Group). These default recipes are a good place to start when there is no additional information provided for measurement. They are general suggestions. When more is known about the process and the function of the part, the recipes can be modified to better fit the application.
