Basically, because in your childhood you have not achieved a secure attachment.

You carry with you a wound from the past that has not healed well, a wound that hurts and that conditions your way of seeing the world, it is the wound that obsesses and compels you.

It is the wound through which you see the world from fear, through which you enter a state of alarm, in a state of fighting or fleeing in anticipation.
Maybe you are so involved in the toc and since you were a child, that you do not even know that there is a state of non-alarm from which to live.

You don't even know that there is a state in which life is not seen as dangerous, that peace is your natural state and not fear, anguish, or depression.

To show you that what is happening to you is that you have an unclosed wound, because you did not have the secure attachment that you needed in your childhood, because you could have been exposed (real or imaginary) to a lack of love, protection, lack of acceptance. That you have not had what you needed to create a secure attachment
