National Antibiotic Guidelines play online

The guidelines in this app reflect the National Antibiotic Guidelines (NAG) 2018 by the Department of Health (Philippines). The conversion into a mobile app intends to increase the utilization, user feedback, and timely updating of the NAG.

Following the NAG 2018, the app contains brief descriptions of disease categories with their etiologic agents, corresponding antibiotic regimens (dose, route, frequency, and duration) for pediatric and adult patients, relevant comments, and key references.

The sound clinical judgment of the healthcare provider is advised when using the guidelines. In addition, variations in a patients clinical presentation (such as co-morbidities), patient preferences, and availability of resources may require judicious adaptation of the Guidelines by individual users
