The Idea: why? Because art is what we do.
The idea for CreatorSpot.org was influenced by the concept of an online artist community where creators of every kind and craft can collaborate with other creative minds, showcase their unique diversity, learn from each other, and take advantage of some awesome educational resources. It’s true that we don’t always know where to start out with what we can do… or sometimes we’re exactly who an aspiring creator needs to learn from? We inspire and learn from each other and we should never stop doing that. We all deserve a spot in the light too. Hence, CreatorSpot.org
The Mission: realizing that the term “starving artist” was way too common…
Something had to be done. Quickly. I came up with a really cool creative solution utilizing some of my tools, skills, and resources, and I pulled a few strings, worked a little magic, and CreatorSpot.org was born! And It’s already helping others! I created a platform for exposure, dedicating a portion of my main personal website (ElizondoArt.com). In addition to living my incredibly awesome and crazy and busy life… I’m now hosting and managing the newly branched-off CreatorSpot.org and doing everything that I can to make sure any participating artists not only have a place to showcase their talent, but possibly be discovered for something greater, and even make a little money doing what it is they love to do.
