This app is great. I'm still new to emulators, but i am having a great time playing all the retro games i grew up with... (i'm 50 years old)!! Can anyone tell me if it is truly possible to use 2 bluetooth controllers SIMULTANEOUSLY? I know the description for this app says it supports up to four players - Yet some younger friends of mine (gamers) doubt that its possible. I simply want to know for sure before I buy another bluetooth gamepad. BTW... I use the 8Bitdo pro and its terrific!!!
I bound back and forth between this app and my jailbroken NT Mini Noir. Therefore, I regularly transfer save files back and forth. For some reason, this app has stopped recognizing my latest sav files that I imported in. I followed the instructions to the letter (check load sav files, uncheck save save files, make sure filenames match minus extensions, etc...). Nothing works. I'm really upset.
Never had a problem with this at all!! Great app and will continue to use it. If the developers could add a way to map a quick save to a button it would even be better.
This is quite literally the best NES emulator of all time. I've had not a single issue when playing (minus the game kinda skipping after a minute and a half, but it doesn't ruin the experience for me). No ads, you can put multiple cheats all at once using the plus sign, it's the best way to play classic games on your smart device.
It's alright, but I see no reason to get this over John NESS: I tried the free version in hopes it'd have scanlines (which is absent from John NESS) and saw that the 'Screen Filters' were locked behind a paywall, so I bought this Pro version and got Screen Filters, but no scanlines, hence undermining my point of paying for this. That said, it's a solid emulator, but did not include what I was hoping for (John NESS is free, and is just as good). Got NES.emu, and I know it does have scanlines."
