Amigo allows you to meet new people outside of Zoom lectures and remote clubs, and make meaningful connections.
It was designed for you to meet your classmates, even remotely, whether your group needs a fourth online Catan player, youre looking for a tennis partner, or you just want to meet people in your college class while youre at home.
First, youll create your individual profile - adding fun pictures, a short bio, your interests, and more. Then, if youre up for it, you can create shared group profiles with your friends! You can turn these profiles on and off as you wish.
For each one of your profiles, youll get a feed tailored to your filters. Youll be able to browse through individuals and groups from your school and send them message requests.
Your profile(s) will appear to your classmates and youll receive message requests from them, which you can choose to respond to or not!

I'm giving this two stars because originally this was a good app that allowed you to be able to see 5 other profiles without doing anything else. However, recently I noticed the number of profiles that I could see each day had started to decrease until today, I am not able to see any profiles at all. With this being the case, I would've given it a 1 star, but it used to be really good, so I felt that it would be unfair to do so.
Amigo is a great way for college students to form lasting friendships with their peers! It has provided a much needed getaway from the constant isolation brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. I highly recommend this app to any college students who are looking for a way to match with people who hold similar interests!
