What is Radio Sthrfunk?

StHrfunk is a non-commercial local radio. Our free radio broadcasts since summer 1995. It is designed by volunteer editors and allows all interested citizens and social groups free access to the radio. About 60 active people make the radio program in 64 programs. Characteristic are the variety of musical stems and themes. There are also foreign language programs and a sports and news magazine. Media education projects with schools are an integral part of the radio. The radio is ad-free, self-managed, free and colorful. Musically, the band spans from punk, reggae, hip-hop, electro and rock to salsa, folk music, brass music, jazz and classical music. StHrfunk is a radio to mix. It offers anyone who wants to let off steam creative and within the scope of the program guidelines with four radio studios in Schwbisch Hall and Crailsheim a suitable platform.

Common to all editors is the presentation of themes and music from a subjective point of view. They present music that they like and that they play to the audience in order to get them excited about it too, including music that is rarely or rarely heard in private-commercial or public-service dudelfunk.
