It's very easy to use it, just tap in the top navigation bar of your screen where a white gradient is shown for typing to search in the specific category or just swipe to go to the next attack, buddy, trainer level, etc.

In monster view, you can tap in an attack to view more information about it.

You can also select from the menu top right on the screen to navigate to other categories such as Attacks, Buddy, Trainer Levels, etc.
