Eljay is a service app designed for SME electrical contractors. The app is designed for use on site by engineers to allow them to view their personal work diaries which show jobs which they are required to attend and also appointments and meeting they are required at.

It allows an engineer to start a job and once completed to complete the job. It also requests materials used to complete the work if required by the company. The engineer can create a order at a local supplier, listing materials ordered and which job the order is for.

The engineer can see a list of their out standing paperwork and also a list of work that has been started but not yet finished.

The app also if required by the company request maintenance checks on the vehicles they use and prevent access to the app until vehicle maintenance has been completed.

The app also allows users to receive notifications for a variety of events including new jobs, jobs added to their diary and jobs taken from their diary.
