The application gathers text statistics: total number of characters, number of unique characters, number of words, sentences, paragraphs, pages, as well as the number of repetitions of each character.
Peculiar properties:
- counting is done as you type the text;
- you can paste text from the clipboard or transfer from another application using the "share action";
- one-click selection of individual characters;
- three search fields to count and highlight combinations of characters or words;
- light and dark themes;
- Character Counter supports multiple languages: English, Russian, German, Spanish, Italian and others.

I love this simple app to count characters for sign making. It would be perfect if it would also count characters for each line.
I tried a few character counter apps and I like this one the most. The set up is nice but there a couple of features I think it needs. The ability to not count spaces and to sort the counter list by character and by counts.
What a LOVELY little app. I use the Copy/Paste approach because I prefer composing in a plain text editor. And an original, easily-recognizable icon. No ads. PERFECT.
Great little app! Gives more data than you'd expect, but it also makes it more interesting.
I couldn't find better app in play store to count charactors. Still some features are necessary. Like Sorting according to number of characters to see which characters are most often used. The app is buggy. Some characters cannot be selected while tapping them in the list."
