Worked right out of the box! The only issue I have is when I'm doing way points. I want the google map to display satellite. I can get satellite view when I hit the map settings but when I go to way point, it's the default road view. I need to know where the trees are when I'm setting GPS way points. Just a good idea. Don't want a George of the jungle experience. If your not familiar with George of the jungle, just google the theme song. LOL
Can't get it to connect I tried everything in the book to get it to connect to the drone, always asking to connect when I am connected to the drone. Trash. If theres another app for drones il take it over this one. Im tired of trying.
This app has never worked in the 2years I've had my drone. I've tried every tip and trick that any have suggested, and nothing works to connect the phone to the drone. Terrible app!
`Figured out a trick to get it to work. Like a lot of people on here, I couldn't get the drone to connect with my phone in the app. Very frustrating. Go into WIFI on phone, tell it to forget the drone's WIFI connection. Next time you connect to the drone WIFI wait for the no internet message to pop up but this time do not check the box to "never as me again". You will have to do this every time you connect but you will be able to use the drone like you want.`,Idk how much of it actually works because there is ZERO instructions on how to use the gps waypoints, (how to use the gps at all for that matyer), how to put the drone in and out of gps mode, nothing at all in either the owner's manual (which is TERRIBLE) or on the app of how to use this drone. Nothing on their website and only 2 totally useless youtube videos from vivitar. So does this app work? No one knows, because no one knows how to fully use it.I do know that satellite view for the gps map doesn't work. That the gps accuracy check doesn't work. Tell people how to use your drone's features."
