DESCRIPTION
Play this online game named Is the Lead Safe?.
An implementation of Bill James' formula as published in Slate in March 2008 (www.slate.com/id/2185975). Just track the score, who has the ball, and how much time is left in the game, and the app will show you how safe the lead is. The perfect accompaniment for March basketball games! The percentage changes to green and stays there once the lead is 100% safe: tap the percentage to reset the color for a new game. Enter the team names and choose your favorite team's colors to customize your experience. Swipe left or right to switch to different games: track up to 4 games at once! Your phone's or tablet's volume buttons can be configured to add points for either team, start or stop the running clock, change possession, or subtract another 35 seconds off the clock. Set the minutes and seconds then start the clock to count down the time along with the game clock to keep the percentage accurate as you watch.
Is the Lead Safe? is open source, ad-free, and doesn't require any permissions. Enjoy!
Updates:
Version 2.3 makes clock button size configurable and lets you click the team labels to quick-select Home and Away team names from the last 10 teams you've watched.V2.2.1 fixed button widths on some newer high-density devices.
V2.2 let you move the Start/Stop clock button to the left side of the screen, fixed a long-standing bug that cleared all settings when using the volume down button to subtract 35 seconds, and added multi-window support on Samsung devices.
V2.1 let you track 4 games at once
