GREAT app for absolute beginners, though limited in scope. Perfect for nailing down basic ranges, understanding table positions and positional advantage, seeing board textures, and getting practice recognizing made hands and drawing hands. There's nothing in this app about bet sizing, odds, equities, or exploitative play. Basically, poker is way more complicated than this. This app will turn you from a total fish into an OK player. Then you'll need to graduate to other sources of study.
Great tool for beginners to learn about betting patterns, and establish a routine. Highly recommend this to new players to build habits, with the caveat that they understand the strategy is based on loose/passive opponents. Aggressive players would steal stacks of chips against someone who played this straight-forward.
Good at explaing nuances of game to a beginner. Apparently every starting hand is trash, always fold.
`TWO THIRDS of the "Attacking the River" hands are Quads and Full House hands! WHY?!?!!? They are a complete waste of training time. First, they hardly ever happen, and second, they're so obvious to know what to do, there's no purpose in having them! Please change the algorithm and get rid of the obvious hands.
