With this app you can turn off a computer with Windows OS, change the volume and brightness (available for a laptop) remotely via your smartphone over an active local WiFi connection. And even more...

Do you have a problem with the connection between your smartphone and your PC / laptop?

If you can't find a computer or can't connect to your PC and the WiFi network is local to both devices, then turn off third-party firewall / antivirus or add the exception.
If the computer you're using uses a third-party firewall (for example supplied with Antivirus), you will need to add exceptions on the following ports:
TCP: 137, 139, 8080
UDP: 137
note: Only TCP 8080 can be linked to the "PCManagerUIClient.exe" application, other ports need to be opened without reference to the application.
