Honestly the geo fencing feature doesnt really work. The app is ok I guess in order to do the same thing you would do on a programmable thermostat but through your tablet/cell phone device. The consumption history is very very vague. Not alot of options available to customize. I spent quite a bit of money on these so called "smart" thermostats. Im an electrician and installed numerous different models throughout 2018 and winter 2019 and this is by far the less useful app of all of them. C-
The app is ok but it still needs work. It looks smart initially but ultimately it is not very intuitive. I also have to re-login too many times in a month. Finally if Stelpro want institutions to use these devices then they have to think of a significant redesign (look at the Sensi app as a reference).
4 stars only because I cannot connect the zwave tech and all the directions out there for my unit state to hold the middle button, down for another menu, guess what no middle button on the unit. Otherwise works great unlike the new app you have that one sucks.
I'm really disapointed about this app. After 3 weeks of use it sometimes delete the preset temperature of the I am away or I am home settings. Cant get the geofencing option to work by himself it just work manually even with the app with all the permissions. I JUST CANT BELIEVE they didnt put the possibility of automatic schedule of temperature as in the 30$ thermostat for that price. Please get the jobs done for the consumer if I bought a intelligent thermostat Its not to downgrade the possibilities. Theres nothing that shows the actual use of heating by hours of the day. The touch screen are so irresponsive for a 2018 product… almost a joke. For having tried competitors I strongly suggest to go elsewhere if they don't fix or upgrade their products. Its a waste of money for now.
`The controller is nice enough, but the app far as I can tell is not usable for anything. Even though the thermostat is wifi enabled, the "connect a thermostat" uses some "Zigbee" pairing thing (not wifi) and is hence useless if you don't have Zigbee.`Page navigation:
