Eco Pet The Serious Game play online

Eco Pet is a project made for the Master in Serious Games of the University of Skvde that encourage students to adopt an eco-friendly energy consumption life-style.

In the game you have an ecopet, that the player has to take care of, both by playing the game and saving energy in real world. To motivate and encourage discussion about energy consumption, the pets environment is affected by all players energy consumption. The more energy you consume, the more clouds pollute the sky!

The main challenges we are facing are to make the players care about their pet, to make them understand the connection between the game and their real electricity consumption to balance the in-game reward/penalty with the players energy savings in real world and, of course, to wrap it all in an entertaining experience!
