I honestly love and adore this game. It's fun, the characters always fascinate me, and trying to learn every single move or tactic for a level is incredibly fun and can be quite a challenge. My only concern surrounds the Google Play options. It will try to log into them but say Google Plus can't set up my profile. I can't find any other app doing this except Tower Fortress. I'm still rating 5 stars due to the exceptional gameplay, but I would appreciate this being fixed.
Been playing this for years for free, finally dropped the cash. This is the single highest quality mobile game I have played. No other mobile game has kept me coming back like this has. Quick and easy to play. Stable, no bugs, clean menus, and excellent rogue-like gamplay. The gameplay is fantastic - it feels like playing Metroid II or a Megaman game on the game boy color. Fans of either series will enjoy this immensely. Tons of upgrades, and fun weapons!
Nitrome is usually a solid company to turn to for an excellent and addicting game experience and this one alongside redungeon are the two I couldn't get enough of until I unlocked everything. This game is the perfect amount of difficult but fair mechanics and roguelike elements in the perfect game time experience that will leave you wanting to play more. The suits add good variety. The one with homing missiles as default tends to be a lot easier to win with imo especially with piercing.
This game is amazing. The suits have their own upsides and downsides, and thus they are balanced. If they aren't balanced, they are extremely hard to unlock. The pixel work is also amazing, and the sprites for the bosses are gigantic. 5/5.
Paid to remove ads when this game came out in 2017 & quickly learned that the random levels are just predetermined pieces placed in a different order so you start noticing the repeating patterns. Not to mention all the mechanics are designed to screw the player over. All you have to do is get the homing missile & you'll walk through the game. All the other weapons are trash. It's a pretty lazy effort & totally forgettable. Unlocking skins is the only redeeming factor."
