DESCRIPTION
Use UptoPlay to play online the game Flashlight.
This app uses your phone's camera's flash LED as a flashlight.
The light turns on when you open the app.
It turns off by either tapping the app or exiting the app by swiping down.
Permission to access the camera is necessary to turn on the flash LED.
I guess now Android lumps that in with the microphone now?

Simple, only 1 permission request, camera, because it couldn't turn on the flash without that. So many other apps I turned down before install because of gross amounts of invasive permission requests but not this app. Five stars all the way, if you are looking for a free simple light app for your phone this is it!
Wanted a no-strings attached flashlight app for my HTC One and this has fit the bill nicely. No special permissions for access to things like internet data, contacts, text messages, etc. Works great and doesn't manage to murder my battery with prolonged usage like the last flashlight app I used. Suffice to say the other app is gone and this one is king.
I saw the author's post on Reddit, and decided to investigate. It does exactly what it says in the description. It turns on the light. No internet ads, no spying. Highly recommend.
Just one problem i have with it. Flashlight turns off after the screen times outs. Fix this issue and its a 5 star app!
App works great, just needs one thing to made it perfect. If either the flashlight would stay on when the screen turns off or if the app would keep the screen from shutting off then it would be 5 stars'
