DESCRIPTION
Use UptoPlay to play online the game Cosmic Companion.
This app lets you randomly assign alien powers for games of Cosmic Encounter (2008 Fantasy Flight Games edition) so you can keep your alien sheets and flares in order for easy look-ups.
Filter by
* Game (include any of base, Alliance, Conflict, Dominion, Incursion, and Storm)
* Complexity (green/yellow/red)
* Name (excluded specific aliens)
* Game Setup (none, those requiring extra player color, or all)
* Conflicts (i.e. Oracle vs Magician. Plan to make this expandable)
It defaults to giving out 2 per player, but that's changeable as well.
When starting a new game, simply select your filters and click the Pick button. Find your alien sheets, and use the Hide option before passing the phone to the next player.
Once you've started the game, use the Start Game option to remove all aliens with game setup to make aliens like the Reincarnator easier to use.
There's a reference page that enables you to look up information on any alien.
Future versions will:
* Expand on ability to prevent conflicts
* Include more details on alien, like back story and flares
* Include a reference guide of cards (useful for the Mesmer who can transform artifact cards)

Great app. Very useful. Only complaint (very minor) is that it doesn't seem to be entirely random. When our group of three did an elimination roster, and took aliens out of the draw pile after we used them once, Grumpus (worst alien in the game) seemed to be always drawn by whoever drew their choices first when our draw pile got down to less than 50 aliens. Which meant that whoever drew first effectively only got one option because Grumpus is so useless.
It's really usefull. The only problem is that a few alien powers are \n" +
incomplete or missing, specifically from cosmic storm.
Very helpful, very clean
Everything works as it should, so in terms of ease of use improvements: 1) Add an option to display all selected aliens at once, e.g. if 2 aliens each for 4 players, display all 8 with separations between each 2. This will help with handing them out all at once. 2) Add an option to select a certain number of each color, e.g. 2 green, 1 yellow, 1 red for each player. This could be done manually, but it would be easier all in one step.
`This app is very helpful to manage alien and flare draws,specially during the setup.I didn't give five stars because sometimes when I play cosmic encounter I like to give 3+ flares to each player to chose the alien from,but I ask them to pick 2 flares for the game (the one of his chosen alien and another one),so the number of flares is always twice the number of players.I believe this can be supported by the app by adding a "draw X pick Y" mode,storing the picks per player so the others can be picked later`Page navigation:
