At its core, Achoo checks in with you daily with a notification that contains a good and bad button for you to quickly record your symptoms with. Your symptoms are then stored for you to reference the next time you are with your Doctor or otherwise. It is that easy to use!

In addition, you can invite your family and friends through Achoo's Connections feature to keep updated with their health and the app will intelligently notify you when one of your Connections is unwell.

Achoo also offers a Heat Map to monitor potentially contagious areas within one's neighborhood. This is an especially useful feature for the more vulnerable members of our community with weakened immune systems.

1. Can I disable my location and still use the app?
Yes! In fact, your location is disabled by default and is only required if you want to use the Heat Map.

2. How is my information protected?
The information sent by your device is encrypted on our database provided by Google's Firebase service. Furthermore, all information collected is anonymous by default as every user is assigned a unique random identifier, making it impossible to identify one user from the next.
