`The app generally is fine. What I find frustrating is that local events ( craft shows, fundraisers etc. ) are being shown AFTER they occurred. The app, as far as I can see, has top stories and video sections only. Why not try adding a community calendar section so we can see what's coming up, instead of seeing the after story and saying "shoot, that would've been fun to go to"`,Awful, it plays news unrelated to our local news repeatedly throughout the day. If it is going to repeat anything why can it be the local news that we expect to see on the KSBY local news app? And the ads repeat one after another. 3 in a row of the same ad, then a different ad then the first ad 2 more times, very annoying. This happend EVERY AD BREAK.Very dissapointed that I can only see the local news if I happen to be able to catch it at the exact time that it would be on local tv.
I just got the KSBY app. Had no problem downloading it. I always liked KSBY for news and info and when we only had an antenna for TV, (we live in S. Monterey county) KSBY came in better than other networks, but when I got DirecTv, SLO stations were not an option due to our zip code. We are stuck with news from Salinas and Monterey. We do most of our business in SLO County so having the KSBY app is a plus to know what is happening.
Terrible. Mostly ads and "Good to know" garbage stores. Going the way as the Tribune, at least KSBY has a physical building. How about some NEWS on the app as before??!!
Biased reporting as so many MSM are. Look carefully and you can easily see they pick and choose what slanted reporting to post and in selecting how they frame their own reporting (minimal though it is). Unfortunately this area has few other options. Honest news reporting is hard to find.'
