WiFi connection , absolute rubbish, followed instructions for WiFi and app does not find camera. App say to forget SSID in settings, presume phone, app will handle WiFi. No way . Not worth one star. I'll wait / try again in 24 hour after which bin it.
You need to update the app so you can play the downloaded footage on your phone when it not connect to WiFi camera. Otherwise what's the point of uploading it to your phone. Such a simple app fix!!!! The whole point of putting on your phone is to take it away from scene of accident to replay when needed Duh! UPDATE Changed to 3 star from 1 star you can look through the internal memory folders on phone its in Philips folder and find uploaded footage. However it would be better to just open app.
Initial setup and connection to your dashcam fails every time, have not been able to once connect successfully even when choosing to connect manually from the phone direct to the camera. App is useless in it's current state, saw other reviews stating similar things 6 months ago and would have thought this to be corrected by now. What a joke. found that disabling 4g allows for connection to the camera, renders it an annoyance to have to enable and disable any time I want to access the cam.
Absolutely useless. Kia installed front and rear cameras in my new vehicle. I'm thinking of having them removed and my Nextgear camera reinstalled. I have not been able to connect to the camera for a whole year. Still have to remove the SD card and play online footage.
Useless. Had camera fitted to new car, the app won't connect with it. It seems to be a problem with Android phones, as I tried a friend's i-phone and it worked. Support from Phillips is non existent.
