Ecoki is a mobile application on waste management in Kinshasa; it is available in Android and IOS versions.

Ecoki means both:
Ecology - Kinshasa in French
Ecoki in Lingala (one of the 4 national languages of the DRC) which means: That's enough. (Represented by its logo: "The trash can with the angry face")


Ecoki advocates the importance of the circular economy through:
Awareness of eco-responsible gestures
Census and identification of approved waste collectors
Visibility of recyclers and their selling points/products

The Ecoki application also allows you to be:
Put in contact with the decentralized agents of their immediate environment (Head of District, Head of Street)
Be informed of news on sanitation policy and other information on innovations related to waste management and recycling
