Don't unless for fun. Playing for a while.. Was balanced and decent first 6 months or so on release. Bugs started showing up. They got greedy and release characters way out of order compared to other versions. Skipping mechanics and features for older characters to advance. I am loosing matches I should win, but wait some my abilities won't activate because they are bug. Oh, and some resources once available in game have been locked behind $ gift packs. Basically don't play if you are new.
A gacha game like many others. There are other KOF mobile games made by other companies that are better, like King of Fighters All Star by Netmarble. At least there is a chance of getting my favorite character, Nameless, instead of here. Upgrading the stars of the characters is slow and needlessly difficult and the PvP does not pair you up with equal level opponents.
Fun game featuring characters from the classic SNK vs fighting video games as a turn based RPG! Graphics look really nice.
recently they released athena that you could only get by buying packs totaling $200 and theyre about to rerelease ash that you could previously get from an event for you guessed it, $200. Also the japanese version of this game is about to shut down at the end of november.
Drop rates for good characters are very low. Ive been playing this game since its release and have never got an SSR, UR, or UP character from recruiting. Keep in mind im not a free player and i got about 3 ssr characters from grinding shards. SNK has promised me a UR character for logging in for a set amount of days in a row but they have never payed out. They dont keep their word.'
