Impact Atlanta is innovative donation. The app allows donators to lend a helping hand and stay connected with their community without the need for too much of their time, energy, or money. They know what their money is being spent on, where exactly these items are going, and what organizations they are helping when they donate. Users can chose which non-profit organization they want to purchase items for and what items they want to donate. When the user decides what item(s) they wish to purchase for whichever organization, the app opens a link to Walmart’s page of that specific item (So, they are not directly donating within the app. This allows freedom and connection for the donor). Then, the user goes to checkout with all the items they wish to purchase on Walmart’s checkout page, and completes the purchase. Impact Atlanta will pick up and deliver these items to the non-profit organizations every month.
