In the wild, romantic Lorzentobel near Baar, Canton train, are the world's unique stalagmites. These caves are different from all the caves in the world. The other came in massive bedrock, which lasted for millions of years. The Hllgrotten however emerged in a Quelltuffkrper near the surface in a relatively short period of about 1000 years. They are therefore unique. The cave grottos, discovered in 1863 and opened to the public in 1887, include an upper and a lower cave group. They were equipped with the latest in spring 2012 lighting technology and are easily accessible. Small lakes, wondrous rock formations and stalactites and stalagmites in all shades of color and shape give each room its own character cave. The Hllgrotten - a magical underground kingdom.
