A free app called “Warsaw Uprising Remembered” reminds us of more than 300 Places of Remembrance dedicated to the Warsaw Rising. Every day you pass them by on your way to school or work. Those places witnessed the tragic history of the people and their city. As you walk the streets you discover these sites, read about them, listen to true stories, look at contemporary pictures and photographs from the Rising. The app will help you understand insurgents and residents who 70 years ago fought and died for their city.
