The Stre@mline mobile phone application enables patients to access their organised health information on the mobile phone. The app gives patients considerable control over their health records, and provides much greater opportunity for portability. The app typically provides functionalities for automatically interfacing and synchronising with the hospital server in order to provide up-to date health records. This makes the stre@mline app more valuable in healthcare delivery.

Patients use their patient number to access the application. Patients are authenticated using SMS 2-factor authentication before they can access their medical record. This ensures that patients access their records securely.
