"Remote for Roku" is an application that lets you control your Roku box. It's a virtual remote but this app have all the features of the real remote.
To use the remote control, you must have your mobile / tablet on the same wifi network as your box. Because the application runs through the wireless network, it is not necessary to be near the box. The app will detect your Roku automatically.

This app works perfectly! There are little advertisements and rarely we needs to be fixed. Especially due to the fact that I am physically disabled( quadriplegic) diagnosed with transverse myelitis. So I am able to control my TV on my own without depending on anyone else. Rarely has major bugs to fix. Give it 3 Thumbs up. Recommend this to anyone instead of using physical remote or if it is lost.
it works, only for very few tasks. if TV isn't already setup for a connection, you're screwed. phone app has to be on the same connection as TV. so no screen mirroring. NO WAY TO ADJUST ANYTHING. Volume, brightness, sound settings... pretty much everything used daily with a regular remote, forget it. It plays Netflix. searching for a title? an advertisement will pop up on your phone every 5 to 8 times u press a key. definitely buying replacement remote tomorrow. but thanks
It works, no question adout it. Has a nice user interface giving it that Roku Remote look. Con: Ad to click rate is a little high, 10 clicks and an ad pops up. That said, if your like me, and your Roku remote keeps sprouting legs and walking off. Than "Remote for Roku
is a must have on your smartphone.well the remote feature works but every 4 or 5 clicks and you fight ads constantly. I upgraded to Premium because it supposedly removes the ads, but that is a lie. After upgrading I had the same amount of ads. Upgrading did nothing but suck some money out of my bank account. Do yourself a favorcand look at different apps.
This app stinks so many bad features.There was a lot of adds.It wouldn't even connect to my tv,because how am I supposed to have my tv on when the whole reason I wanted the app was to watch tv,because I lost my remote. I reccomend 0 stars to this app.But to comment I had to give it at least 1,so I gave it a 1."
