Gender based violence is a matter of human rights violation. The gender based violation acts wether physical, sexual or psychological afflicts the most basic right to human dignity. In essence, non-partner violence, interpersonal violence or intimate partner violence lead to physical or emotional trauma which disempowers people in our communities. The solution to this is to empower our communities by giving them a HERO app that stands as their voice, a support and anonymous empowering tool where there can just use their smart phones to request the service of a gender equity officer who might be the a registered social worker, the victim command center or any Gender based violence officer. To this end, an empowered community is a happy country, continent and the world at large.
