This is genuinely an amazing game, and I happily bought the ad free very quickly but it isn't perfect like the original. Like others have said, there are sounds missing from the game and the game physics feel somewhat off. It is still fun though and very nostalgic, so hopefully the creator of this app comes back to it and helps it develop.
I don't like this much aside from the looks like the legitimate version on pc. It is much more difficult to play, sometimes there is lag of the right bumper which can lose you the game. The points and challenge system work differently and make it impossible to score big off them. And the ADS, after EVERY GAME. Ridiculous. Deleting after making this review.
This game radiates nostalgia; which is why it's so disappointing to have such small bugs interfere with the experience. The Hyperspace jackpot doesn't have full sound effects and sometimes eats the ball, casually putting it at the top without points. The ball physics are inconsistent making it difficult to aim of flippers and causes it move in unnatural ways. Skill shot doesn't award point consistently. There's no multi-ball or gravity well, and the game will randomly drop missions mid-play. Smh
`Two stars are because this isn't much like the original other than how it looks, and it is really buggy! If you lose a ball but you have completed a mission, you lose the "status" and ranks (but not the points) and this makes it impossible to get the higher level missions. If you are on the last ball and get a replay, you don't get to use it, and you can only get one extra ball and it plays as a replay instead. The physics are also a bit off from the original PC version.`,This is good, but the physics are not the same. I used to play this on my computer for hours and I for some reason I remember exactly how it felt. The bumpers right above the flippers, all the bouncers (like the engines), and the launcher are much stronger. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think the friction is also off, but it could just be the faster ball from the added power because the ball is MUCH harder to control. It's still fun for a few minutes here and there, but it's different"
