The WakeOnLan application enables you to wake up a computer on the local network (Wake on LAN), but also any computer on the internet (Wake on WAN) simply using your phone.
Wake on LAN is not available on all network cards but the most recent ones are often compatible. To take the most of this technology you might have to change some settings on your router or computer. For more information you will find many tutorials on Google.

Doesn't work for me. I have another WOL program which works fine with the exact same settings but I wanted a widget on my home screen so I tried this app. Just keeps telling me 'unable to resolve hostname'. I have checked over and over that the hostname is correct.
After a lot of attempts I just gave up and installed every app and software to see which one would work. This one saved me as it was the only proper functioning wake on wan program (wake on lan worked with other programs). Not only that, but its so simple and easy to set up and use. Highly underrated and deserves more attention.
Clean UI. The widget is great but it cannot wake my nas. I suspect its because I cannot specify the subnet. Please add Subnet to the settings!
Beautifully designed app, love that it's free and supports widgets. I use this to boot up VM's on my Unraid server.
