Padakanaja Mobile app is a collection of comprehensive and authoritative dictionaries. It is an official mobile app of Government of Karnataka in order to smoothen the implementation of Kannada in Govt Administration and for public usage. This app provides unified single window to access multiple lexical resources such as various Departmental Glossaries / Dictionaries published by Govt and Private publishers.
Features of the Dictionary:
Allows user to search both Kannada and English words for its meaning and other attributes.
Auto suggestion available for English and Kannada words, dictionary app displays the related words with the word you search.
App displays the available list of dictionaries and publishers. Application allows users to browse through the dictionaries.
User can view most searched words.
User can view last three recently looked-up words
App allows users to submit new words by providing all the required information. The newly submitted word and details will be submitted for approval.
Users will be able to submit the new word only when searched for Kannada word.
