`This app used to work kind of smooth but that was a few years ago. The app has become increasingly buggy, an constantly freezes up. Now, my entire collection disappeared. I followed the advice in the "help" section to log out and log back in. Well for some reason I can't log back in and I can't get a response to my email. I'm feeling like I need a different app. FYI, I have the pro version. Save your money and avoid this app.`,I really liked this app when I recently installed it, it was easy to use, just scan the baroness and it puts things in alphabetical order. Except it has free limited space, really limited, I paid for the upgrade, unlimited space, it didn't say that it was a recurring charge, the problem is, it no longer works right, it freezes, it won't do anything but search and it might find and load a movie here and there, to time consuming .fix the problem.
Great app but one major problem. I have a very large movie library. I paid for the premium version because I had well over 100 titles and I wasn't going to manually input all these movies. So when I hit the 700 mark I noticed that the number was lower than it was the last time I used the app. Well recently I hit 880 and I went to the store and got three more movies on sale. I went to put them in and it told me it was at 876. It keeps loosing my data. I hope that they can fix this issue soon.
Installed the mobile app and scanned 10 movies. Then I decided to purchase the desktop app for $25 so I could sync with my mobile device. The pros: cover art for unusual discs (double/triple features, anniversary editions…) appears correctly instead of the standard imdb cover art, and you can manually change both front and back cover images. Disc details & descriptions are nice, also editable. AHS Season 1 description shows all 12 episodes by name, nice. The cons: to continue to scan more discs with my mobile device I will need to pay another $9.99 to unlock the pro features since there was no apparent way to bundle these options during my first purchase. While the desktop-mobile sync is a nice feature there doesn’t appear to be any way to backup collections, online or locally, nor does there appear to be any way to export the data to a .txt, .csv or .xml. Scanned Weeds: The Complete Collection, it does indicate 8 seasons/102 episodes but it would have been nice if it actually would have listed the individual episodes like AHS. This is more of a feature request than a bug since I don’t know where they retrieve the info from. I would also like to see a true list-view option with no cover art.
It's great having a list of all the movies that I own, and that they can be added to your list just by scanning the barcode. If it's in the database, most of the information is automatically available. HOWEVER, the app crashes a lot when it runs into an error (either mine or its own). I'm trying to add a movie to the database, but it keeps crashing when I try to select the format, and I can't save it anyway without choosing a format. For $10, I hope it's still being worked on.
