The George County School District is located in Lucedale, Mississippi. We have (8) eight schools - one high school, one middle school, and (6) six elementary schools. As of September 2022, our school district proudly earned an A ranking for the first time in history. Our district consists of approximately 750 staff members, approximately 4200 students, (5) five school board members, and a dedicated and supportive community - all committed to becoming the absolute best school district in the entire state of Mississippi!
