I tried chowcab for the first time today. placed my order, and it gave me an estimated time of arrival. the tracker sat on "sending" for 30 minutes, so naturally I became concerned the restaurant had not even received my order yet. I called the restaurant and was informed my order was rejected. THE MONEY WAS ALREADY REMOVED FROM MY ACCOUNT. At about 40 minutes after placing the order someone FINALLY called about it. DO NOT REMOVE MONEY FROM PEOPLES ACCOUNTS UNTIL THE ORDER HAS BEEN ACCEPTED.
You might get your order you might not. Also you might get your refund you just might have to wait weeks for customer service to respond
Won't even launch
Used to accept cash before bite squad took them over. I have no car and get \n' +
paid in cash this app used to be my most used one as I used it twice a day \n' +
regularly. It litteraly was a life saver for me with the closest grocery \n' +
store being almost 5 miles away and any resurant in my area even further \n' +
away.
I think it's a good app and alright business, but why order from it when I \n" +
can order dominos without having to tip the driver and paying a small order \n' +
fee? It makes the orders way more expensive than they should be.'
