Use this assistive timer tool to step you through each phase of Fashion Design and Illustration, so you don't get lost on any one step or forget a step. Also be reminded when to take breaks and seek inspiration.

7 Steps include
1 min adjustable up to 15 min per step. (very fast I know, but thats cause fashion illustration should never forget the idea of drawing at a live show. (probably 3 min or 5 min sections for a serious long pieces at home)

A rest step exists in between each step and can be increased or decreased as can each step length.
1. written facts about demographic/psychographics/setting
(example: american middle class urban female teen who likes coffee and social media, Autumn walking to fast food job)
2. Bone structure / pose / attitude of spine,legs,arms,head (light source *optional)
3. body form fill out masses / flesh / eyes / hair / hands / feet
4. Clothing and garment outlines (bottoms tops shoes hats hair cuffs necklines waistbands, and general silhouette)
5. Color palette selection mixing and testing with swatch creation. (Color is SO important in fashion that just prepping color choice and mix has its own section)
6. Color application
7. Finishing (shadows, jewelry, lipstick, eyes, makeup, props, gadgets, and background setting info)
