So far this is the best Farkle game I have tried and I have tried a few. I like playing with an AI. I don't like the ones with chips or those you have to play in order to play the game. I would rather touch the cup to roll on the first time. There is no signal that it is my turn, unless I sit there and notice the AI is not playing. The other item I would like improved is when the AI gets to 10, 000 the other player, me, does not get a chance to try. That is how our family ended the game.
It's a good game. Only complaint is that the game is set up for the AI to have better odds at rolling 1, 2, or 3 dice than anyone ever is able too (like nearly every single time!), yet the Human player Farkles on 1-3 dice (nearly every single time!). Game is very straightforward. Instructions don't tell you if you tap the screen it decreases the time between players and speeds the game up.
It's frustrating playing with an opponent who doesn't seem to understand how the game is played but keeps winning anyway due to lucky rolls. Anyone knows that the goal is to get 3 of a kind, so the best strategy is to pick one die on each roll until you get it. The WORST thing you can do is keep every 5 and 1 that you roll. The AI does just this, and Farkles constantly until you are thousands ahead, then suddenly the AI gets multiple lucky rolls and leaps ahead. It's predictatable and boring.
AI vrs Player needs to be readjusted. How is it that AI can use up all the dice 3-5 times in a row and the Player cant roll all dice more than 1-2 times? I never had that happen in any other Farkle game. The ending score was 14000 by AI to my 5000. Also the Roll button doesnt light up the game automatically rolls for you. Why bother having a roll button if we cant use it! Uninstalling going to look for a way better Farkle game
Solid (and ad-free) version of Farkle. Clear interface is easy to use but the game isn't hard to beat consistently as it takes too many risks even when much nearer the finish line than the player. An option to set the winning score would be nice. Overall a nice free app, well done and thanks to the developer."
