There are different classes and you will unlock more as you play. No matter who you play as, the idea is the same shoot everything and don't get shot.

Different enemies have different attack patterns, which is great when fighting them one-on-one, but when there are more than a few on the screen, you'll be jumping and running through storms of bullets coming from every angle.
