Not as good or as stable as TuneIn Radio, which no longer allows me to listen to BBC Channels. Further, there are no visuals (that I can find), or facilities to skip forward or back, or to record a programme on the fly. I'm looking for someone to help me set up a VPN to circumvent the geographic block on BBC Radio Programmes accessed using TuneIn Radio.

Whoever sanctioned this product to be released and BBC iPlayer to be withdrawn needs to be sacked. It is no better than a Beta release. All I want to do is listen to the radio but it can't even do this properly. It switches off as soon as the display on my Huawei closes despite my settings allowing apps to remain open when this happens. BBC will no doubt say that I haven't set things up properly in my battery saver mode, but, if so, how come iPlayer STILL works properly?

Perhaps the effect of Brexit? Terrible app - poor sound quality, no BBC World, just a very low end app - not in the same league as BBC iPlayer Radio in terms of quality, sound, options, just a very badly written and designed app that looks and behaves cheap

Not good for use on tablets in landscape format. A pathetic lack of attention to detail. Boring, uninformative selection page. But very patriotic. Bleh! Unbelievable amount of dropout. Bring back the old app.

This is the first time i've ever decided to leave a negative review, but i felt compelled to complain about this absolute rubbish app. They kill off iPlayer radio and replaced it with something that hardly works! My mother can't even listen to the radio now. I doubt anyone will listen to the hoards of people here asking for iPlayer radio to return, but Please DO SO!"
