Private
- No phone number or user account required.
- Your contact information is randomly generated and is not linked to any personally identifying information.
- You control who you share your contact information with. No one will know your contact information unless you tell them (or they get it from a mutual friend)
- Securely send your contact information just by sending your friends a picture.
- You can choose to automatically delete old messages, and how often to delete them.

Peer-to-peer
- Send messages directly from your device to your friend's device over the Tor network*, which makes your message metadata anonymous.
- Only you and your friend will know about the messages you send, keeping your private conversations private.

Secure
- End-to-end encryption keeps your messages private while they are being sent to your friend. Only your friend can read the messages you send them. No one else will know what you're saying.
- All your conversations and contacts are stored encrypted on your device giving you complete control over your private information.
- Block people you don't want to hear from. They won't be able to send you messages unless you unblock them.

Obscurity is supported by advertising or subscriptions. If you're concerned about the privacy implications of ads, you may choose to purchase an annual subscription, which will disable the advertising. The subscription includes a 30 day Free Trial for first time subscribers. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Subscriptions section of the Play Store app in favour of seeing ads. If you do cancel, your subscription will remain active until its next renewal date before expiring.
