The Javanese-Indonesian Dictionary (KBJI) is the second dictionary product after the Javanese Language Dictionary (Bausastra Jawa) presented by the Language Center of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. If the Javanese Basa Dictionary (Bausastra Jawa) is a Javanese language dictionary whose definition also uses Javanese, it is also called a monolingual dictionary, this Javanese-Indonesian Dictionary is defined in Indonesian, so it is also called a bilingual dictionary. It is hoped that the publication of this Javanese-Indonesian Dictionary can be used and utilized by the community, both Javanese speakers and non-Javanese speakers, to find out the meaning of a word (lema) in Javanese. The publication of the Javanese-Indonesian Dictionary which contains about 56,144 entries has gone through a long process for eight years (since 2013) which has been carried out in stages.
