Thal-IT play online

Thal-IT is a convenient way of analyzing graphic images of haemoglobin electrophoresis on cellulose acetate membranes. The images are selected from the gallery after capturing through the mobile camera. The samples in a selected image are cropped to generate color histograms. The individual peaks (fractions) in a sample are analyzed after baseline subtraction and marking the start and the end of a peak. The results can be stored as screenshots that are identified by the date and time of analysis displayed on each result.

Thal-IT is primarily meant for the diagnosis of thalassemia and abnormal hemoglobins. However, it can also be used to analyze electrophoretic images of serum protein and PCR amplified products of a wide variety of quantitative PCR applications.
