Comments:
It instructs users to play online additional repositories, don't! It'll fail regardless and advise you to get the upgraded app from the website. There's a reason the app isn't in the Play store except that it is in the Play store. Take my word or try it for yourself just make sure to report it when you realize how bad nonsense like this has damaged not only smartphones but the internet altogether. We have companies like this to thank!
I cannot install Termux-API Package for some reason... $ apt install termux-api Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Package termux-api is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source.
It wasn't clear to me that this must be run in termux after installing this app: pkg install termux-api (which may require apt-get update be run first)
This app is an entire command line shell suite of epic proportions. It renewed my interest in computers and helped to introduce me to a more traditional Linux, unlike Google serves us. I really wish i knew where to get an interactive developer shell to teach the ever changing ways of modifying, moving, administrating files, very least to document changes and give credits where its due. If you aren't cogniscent to what you do in this app, it has the potential to destroy and the power 2rebuild.
The only reason I got this was to send SMS messages using Tasker. I got it working just fine before they updated it to deactivate. Hours of configuring and development wasted. The developer still has it described as an available feature in the description but the API docs state it's no longer available."
