I really like its simplicity. Only thing I wish could be fixed is the adjustment bar. I wish it would disappear after a few seconds of non use, or that it was black, or both. I have extreme photophobia, and just that little blue light in the bar can agitate it. Other people perhaps aren't so sensitive.
We sometimes visit a dark park, a protected area up in remote hills, where all municipalities in the vicinity have agreed to minimize light pollution, so that astronomers can use telescopes and cameras. Only dim red light is allowed for visitors to navigate the pathways after dark, and this app comes in very useful, or you can use a flashlight covered with red celluloid.
My reptiles can't see red light so I use this to check on them in the middle of the night without freaking them out. Was able to watch my snake lay eggs thanks to this app!
The slider adds white light when the purpose is to avoid it, wish the slider was black. Thanks for the app.
I deleted the app only because of of the screen not being totally red. If the level of light bar and the app drawer bar were always in screen. Nice if they would disappear when used after a five second delay.'
